Conference Theme

Public health and the institutions that care for it have faced new experiences in the past two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These have come with extraordinary dynamism and intensity of the epidemic and the intertwining of anti-epidemic measures with societal issues. Regional health authorities became one of the central points of crisis management in the Czech Republic. And thus also places where positive and negative experiences intermingled.

We believe that knowledge, experience and mutual cooperation of experts can lead to more effective use of spatial data by public health authorities and other organisations in health and crisis management.
